I’m Shabora Jones, better known as Big B, the founder of B’orah Productions. I am a Detroit based music producer focused on creating beats that carry both impact and emotion. Music has always been part of my life, from singing Jon B. during Sunday dinners to growing up on The Temptations and Mariah Carey during the holidays. Those moments shaped my ear and taught me early that music connects people in ways words cannot. For me, music is more than sound. It is the energy that defines a moment. On a good day, Mary J. Blige clears the noise and Kirk Franklin sets my direction. On a rough one, Kem brings me calm, but Lil Jon reminds me I am still unstoppable. That balance of emotion and energy is the same feeling I aim to deliver through every B’orah Productions project.

In the studio, I build and shape production in Logic Pro, and I bring everything together and finalize mixes in Pro Tools. My music is available on SoundCloud, Apple Music, and Spotify, where listeners can follow my growth as a producer and artist. I am also drawn to the soul of live instrumentation. I play piano, I am learning drums, and I stay inspired by the raw emotion of saxophone and electric guitar. It is not about how many instruments I play. It is about how deeply I can feel the sound when it is played right, and that mindset is what drives the quality and intention behind B’orah Productions.
